Doyle Higgins House
Located outside the village of Skaheenarinky in Co. Tipperary, the Doyle Higgins House is set at the foot of the Galtee Mountains.
Replacing an unsuitable cottage that previously occupied the site, the Doyle Higgins House is a comfortable home, set in a tranquil location. Upon approach, the house reveals itself with its red-coloured roof, providing a strong visual contrast with the greenery of the surrounding landscape.
The interior of the house is organised in a linear fashion. The family room is pulled away from the main house, providing visual interest externally, and a hierarchy of space internally. A substantial external patio area provides ample space to enjoy the serene setting of the house.
